Danny and Michelle's Engagement Session | Downtown Lynchburg, VA | Lynchburg Engagement Photographer

Guys...this session is so near to my heart! I met Danny growing up in North Carolina when his dad was an elder at my church. He also owned a Quiznos in my town which I frequented. They seriously gave me so many free subs. haha At the time I became close friends with his older brothers since he was like 10 and I was 16. Eventually his family moved to Florida right around the time I left to go to Liberty. Fast forward to a few years ago and I find out that Danny is coming to Liberty! I was so flippin pumped! His family means so much to me. His brothers are some of my best friends, his dad was one of the biggest mentors in my life, and his mom has given me countless advice on life, marriage, and God. So having Danny here in Lynchburg was like having a little slice of the Seibler family here with me.

When Danny decided to move off campus my wife and I offered for him to move in with us so he could save more. He lived with us until he graduated which was just this past May. It was a time I won't soon forget. His (at the time) girlfriend, Michelle, came up for his graduation along with his family. He had planned to propose to her while she was here and had been talking to me about it for weeks. He was so excited about it! He had planned to propose to her at the top of the new tower Liberty built. It ended up being a bit crowded so he had to change his plan last minute. It was pouring down rain outside so naturally he decided to propose outside. haha All went according to plan and she of course said yes. The day before they left we took some engagement photos in downtown Lynchburg. It was so great to spend some time with them before they left for Florida and such an honor to have taken their photos. I won't be photographing their wedding but you can bet I'll be there. 😄
