Glass Hill Styled Shoot | Goode, VA | Goode Wedding Photographer

This shoot was so special for so many reasons. It was the culmination of months of planning and hard work but also (kinda sorta) the kick off of an amazing new venue. So, let me back up a bit. This all started when Diane, the owner of Glass Hill, got in touch with me and Suzanne Pfeiffer (Clark Street Photography) about planning a styled shoot for them. We of course said, "Heck yeah!" Suzanne and I soon got together at Third Wave to start planning. It was seriously magical how much we were on the same page about the shoot. We had the same ideas, wanted the same color palette, and between the two of us had plenty of contacts with some sweet vendors to make this thing happen and come to life.

After planning for months the day finally came for the shoot! I think we were at Glass Hill for like 8 hours that day. Who would have thought a styled shoot would take so long to...well, style? haha  We finally got everything set up and got shooting! The whole day turned out amazingly and exactly as we had pictured it. It was such a pleasure being a part of this shoot and such an honor to work with the awesome folks from Glass Hill. I've had the incredible opportunity to get to know the Crickenbergers and see their heart for people. It's funny, when you're in the wedding industry you try to network and create relationships with other vendors and sometimes the people you were trying to work with become your friends. I can honestly say that the Crickenbergers have become my friends. I've had quite a few conversations with Diane about their hopes and dreams for the venue and while I'm pumped for their future clients to have a beautiful place to have their wedding I'm even more excited that they'll have the opportunity to meet Diane and her family. I've told Diane so many times that at first people will come for the venue but give it some time and people will come for them because people are going to love them. I can't wait to see where the next few years take them. I just know it's gonna be awesome.
