Holly & Micah's Engagement Session | Washington, D.C. | Virginia Engagement Photographer
I’m so flippin excited to share this session! After I met Holly and Micah I knew right away that these were my people. As a wedding photographer you try to market for the kind of clients that you’d love to work with and it’s so incredibly rewarding when you book them. It’s like checking your fridge and finding that you still have left overs from that super awesome restaurant and you had totally forgotten about it. It’s like going to Disney and there being no lines on the Hulk. You get the idea. It’s a great feeling.
We explored D.C. together and even went to the National Gallery of Art for a few shots. It was tons of fun. We stopped off at the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, and the mini Louvre. At least that’s what I call it. I have no idea what it actually is. haha
These guys were so much fun to work with and I loved getting to see more of D.C. It can be challenging shooting in such a crowded area and trying to avoid people but it can also be fun to just embrace it. At the end of our engagement session I met Holly and Micah at their apartment and they made me this super awesome chicken gnocchi soup. You know like the kind you get at Olive Garden? Yeah…it was amazing. We talked about our favorite movies, books, and shows. Micah loves Avatar the Last Airbender so you know he’s awesome. It was a great evening and I’m super pumped for their wedding this October! 😄
